My name is Jonah Seymour. I grew up in a small town called Tama and I began playing music at just three years old. Music is, was, and will always be one of the greatest passions that I have ever known and I can only hope to lighten up anybody's day or night with just a little bit of my own music.

I play many instruments, although I can probably say guitar is my most passionate, but I love to play other instruments such as Drums, Piano, Mandolin, Banjo, Bass guitar, etc.

My musical influences are vast, ranging everywhere from the Eagles to Mumford and Sons.  I can say that one of my biggest musical influences aside from my father, would probably be John Mayer.

I also perform for many different places and occasions, including different bars, clubs, even around to weddings and back yard parties. I have been mostly playing solo acoustic shows, but certainly love to do full band shows as well!

I love to write songs deep from the soul, centering around the feelings that come from the sounds and melodies, as opposed to just the lyrics.  I also record, mix, and master all of my own music which can be found across most digital platforms! I hope you enjoy not only my music, but the performances that I put on at each show. I am always thankful for each person that shows up to support!
